James Morrison has been cutting hair for over 45 years. As a kid growing-up in Glasgow, Scotland, he knew that hairdressing would change his life. In his vast career, his little pair of scissors have taken him to almost every corner of the globe. Having joined the iconic team at TONI&GUY in London at age 19, he began his work as a platform artist and educator. At 24 years old, he jumped on the opportunity to join co-founder, Bruno Mascolo, in Texas to launch their hairdressing empire. With hair salons, schools and the product manufacturing arm called TIGI Linea, James was instrumental in laying the groundwork for the TONI&GUY culture in America. As a celebrated icon of the hairdressing industry, James has spent his career uplifting the beauty industry. He has now settled into a more domestic life, but keeps his hand in his craft daily with his wonderful clientele in Newport Beach.
